Capstone: A Safe Day on the Job (Integrated Safety Scenario)

This ties Module 5 together. You must service a breaker in an energized panel, then run conduit near an overhead 12 kV service drop. Every step touches a safety rule.

The safe sequence

StepRule
Work the panelDe-energize and establish an electrically safe work condition (best control)
Lock it outApply your own personal lock + tag (Cal/OSHA Title 8 §3314)
Before touching conductorsVerify absence of voltage with a rated tester, proven live-dead-live
If it must be energized (testing)Qualified person + proper PPE (+ EEWP where required)
Arc-flash clothingrated in cal/cm² (arc-rated)
