Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

CA Electrical Prep (“we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain English on purpose.

Information we collect

  • Account information — the email address you sign up with, and a securely hashed password managed by our authentication provider. We never store your password in plain text.
  • Study data — your progress through lessons, quiz and exam results, and review history, so we can show your progress and schedule your reviews.
  • Payment information — if you purchase full access, payment is processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number.
  • Usage and analytics — basic, aggregated information about how the site is used (such as pages viewed and general device type), collected through analytics tools to help us improve the product.

How we use your information

  • To provide the course — track your progress, deliver questions, and run practice exams.
  • To operate your account and process your purchase.
  • To improve the platform and fix problems.
  • To send you essential account or service messages.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to understand how the site is used (for example, through Google Analytics). Analytics data is used in aggregate to improve the product. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the service — including our database and authentication host, our hosting provider, our payment processor, and our analytics provider. They process data on our behalf and are bound to protect it.

Data retention and security

We keep your account and study data while your account is active. We use industry-standard measures, including row-level security and encrypted connections, to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and California residents have specific rights under the CCPA/CPRA. To make a request, contact us and we will respond as required by law.

Children

This service is intended for adults preparing for a professional license and is not directed to children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
